1-Year Limited Manufacturer Warranty:
At Superior Wood Company, we stand behind the quality of our handmade end grain cutting boards. We offer a one-year manufacturer warranty that covers any defects that render the cutting board unusable, including cracks or warping caused by manufacturing issues. This is one of the longest warranties in the industry!
What’s Covered?
• Cracks or splitting due to manufacturing defects
• Warping caused by improper construction or material defects
What’s Not Covered?
• Damage caused by improper care, including exposure to excessive moisture, heat, or direct sunlight
• Normal wear and tear, including knife marks, scratches, or changes in appearance due to use
• Issues caused by neglect, misuse, or failure to follow care instructions (e.g., dishwasher use, soaking, or lack of oiling and conditioning.)
• Damage from accidents, drops, or external impacts
• Changes in wood color
Repair or Replacement
If a defect covered by this warranty occurs, we will either repair or replace the board at our discretion. The decision will be based on the extent of the damage and feasibility of repair.
Shipping Costs
We will cover all shipping costs associated with approved warranty claims, ensuring a hassle-free process for our customers. We will email you a pre-paid return label upon approval of a warranty claim.
How to File a Warranty Claim
To initiate a warranty claim, please contact us at support@superiorwoodcompany.com with the following information:
1. Proof of purchase (order number or receipt)
2. Photos or videos of the issue, showing the defect clearly
3. A brief description of the problem
Once we review your claim, we will provide further instructions on returning the board for evaluation.

Return & Refund Policy:
30-Day Return Policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a full-price return, your cutting board must be in an unused condition and free from damage.
Defective Products
Superior Wood Co. products should be free of defects upon arrival. Please inspect your products once they arrive to ensure there has not been damage during transit.
How to Start A Return
To start a return, you can contact us at support@superiorwoodcompany.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address:

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Freight Damage:
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is damaged from transit. If there's damage from transit, contact us immediately at support@superiorwoodcompany.com and include pictures.
Non-Returnable Items
Unfortunately, certain items cannot be returned, including the following:
- Board Butter
- Items purchased on sale
- Products that have been used
- Gift cards
- Custom orders
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refund Processing Time
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
